• Proven experience as a copywriter or content creator, preferably with a focus on social impact, nonprofit organizations, or marketing agencies serving such clients.

• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and compelling manner.

• Strong research skills and the ability to distill large amounts of information into concise, engaging narratives.

• Creativity and a passion for using words to inspire action and drive positive change.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.

• Proficiency in digital tools and platforms commonly used for content creation, such as Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, Adobe Creative Suite (particularly InDesign), and social media management tools.

• Familiarity with SEO best practices and basic knowledge of web analytics tools is a plus.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.

1. Content Creation:

• Develop engaging and persuasive copy for various digital and print platforms, including social media posts, website content, annual reports, email newsletters, press releases, and marketing collateral.

• Collaborate with clients to understand their goals, audience demographics, and messaging preferences, ensuring that all content aligns with their brand identity and mission.

2. Storytelling & Messaging:

• Craft compelling narratives that effectively communicate our clients’ impact, mission, and values to diverse audiences.

• Research and gather information about client initiatives, success stories, and key metrics to inform storytelling efforts and create authentic, resonant content.

3. Campaign Support:

• Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns and fundraising initiatives for nonprofit organizations, providing creative input and writing copy for campaign materials such as landing pages, social media ads, and donation appeals.

• Collaborate closely with our Marketing team to ensure that campaign messaging is consistent across all channels and effectively drives audience engagement and action.

4. Brand Voice & Tone:

• Maintain consistency in tone, style, and messaging across all client communications, reflecting each organization’s unique brand voice

• Adapt writing style and tone to suit different platforms, audiences, and campaign objectives, from formal annual reports to lively social media content.

5. Quality Assurance & Editing:

• Review and edit copy to ensure accuracy, clarity, grammar, and adherence to brand guidelines.

• Proofread and provide feedback on content produced by other team members or external partners, ensuring a high standard of quality and coherence.
